Common employee onboarding failures it is simple to avoid<\/h3>\n

Onboarding new employees isn\u2019t rocket science, but you might be amazed how often it leaves new employees feeling disengaged if not downright disheartened.<\/p>\n

The problem is that your new joiners expect everything to run perfectly. They\u2019ve had a great interview, won the job of their dreams, are looking forward to an amazing new opportunity working for you and then…<\/p>\n

Nothing quite lives up to their expectations.<\/p>\n

We appreciate that orchestrating the activities required to get onboarding right is time-consuming for everyone involved (especially if you don’t have HR software<\/a> <\/span>to help you), and you\u2019ve 110 other things to sort out. Like lining up the next batch of candidates for interview or conducting that overdue exit interview. But, not getting employee onboarding right is costing your business money and time.<\/p>\n

We asked 1000 office workers to tell us about their own experiences, and what they’d do to make sure every new employee starts off on the right foot.<\/p>\n
