London, United Kingdom: Informed decision making is at the heart of effective businesses, and the importance of making the right HR decisions based on accurate HR data has never been more important than it is right now.
That’s why this month’s update to Cezanne HR focuses on tools designed to give HR teams and business leaders better insight into their data.
Pre-built diversity dashboards
The October release sees another addition to the library of pre-configured graphical dashboards embedded in Cezanne HR’s modern HR software suite. The new dashboard provides people managers with fast, easy access to key workforce demographic data across age, gender, ethnicity and nationality,
John Hixon, Director of R&D at Cezanne HR, explains: “Improving DE&I to drive better outcomes for employees and the business has become a key focus for many organisations. However, while HR teams and senior managers have a wealth of workforce data at their fingertips, they rarely have the time or tools needed to use that data effectively. With Cezanne HR, we solve that problem by automatically generating best-practice graphical dashboards that put HR data in a context that is easy to understand and act on.”
Cezanne HR’s new DE&I dashboard offers the option to review data on an organisation-wide basis, or filter the information by different criteria, including locations, org units and companies.
New collaboration option and formula fields for Insights
The update to Cezanne HR also includes enhancements to the system’s advanced analytics module, Insights. This module takes Cezanne HR’s embedded analytics to the next level, allowing businesses to build their own dashboards, drilldowns and metrics quickly and easily, and to take advantage of predictive capabilities and – with this release – collaboration tools.
John Hixon explains. “Identifying issues or trends in data is just the first step in using data to influence future people strategies. What businesses need is a way for decision-makers to work together to discuss the data. The new collaboration option allows HR and people managers to quickly flag up specific reports and share them with colleagues to encourage debate and action.
This release also sees the addition of around 40 new formula fields that will help HR teams report on important issues relating to workforce diversity, performance and retention.
For example, it’s now easy to:
- Review diversity data in the context of supervisory responsibilities to check workforce demographics are not skewed based on seniority.
- Look at ‘regrettable’ leavers against performance and potential, to make it simpler for businesses to identify where they could be losing key current and future talent.
- See performance and potential ratings alongside demographics, such as gender, age or ethnicity, to identify potential issues and opportunities for improved career progression and training.
Richer self-service data options
Last, but not least, the October 2022 release includes the option for employees to easily update a wider range of information about themselves. As well as deciding which fields to enable, HR can choose to route specific changes through internal approval cycles, allowing them to stay in control of key data updates.
