New features include payslip import, spell checking and further enhancements to absence management
Cezanne HR, the London-headquartered supplier of international and local Cloud HR Software for SMEs, today confirmed the availability of new features for its Software as a Service Human Resources Management solution.
The update is one of a series planned this year and includes a range of features designed to improve HR and employee productivity and engagement.
John Hixon, R&D Director of Cezanne HR explains: “With this update the focus has been on making things simpler for all employees. For example, we’ve made spell checking available in all of the languages we support today – UK and US English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French – which should help everyone to avoid those all-too-easily-made, but embarrassing, spelling mistakes when completing performance appraisals or other important online forms.”
The new release also solves the problem of having employment-related documents scattered all over the organisation; on multiple servers, local PCs, or even as email attachments. A new bulk upload feature allows HR or other admin users to easily upload documents, such as electronic payslips, to individual employee records. HR can be confident that documents are secure, and employees need only go to one place to access their information.
The update also further extends the sophistication of the system’s holiday and absence management capabilities.
“A significant overhead for any organisation is absence management,” explains John. “Companies have long recognised that HR software systems, especially those that offer employee self-service, help companies to manage planned and unplanned absences in a way that’s much more proactive and cost effective.”
“However, what’s often overlooked is the amount of time wasted by HR admin or senior management manually updating absence entitlements to reflect the company’s own policies and comply with legislation.”
Cezanne HR automatically calculates holiday and other absence entitlements based on an individual employee’s working time pattern; country calendars; the rules defined by customers (such as carry over, additional time off based on length of service or mandatory holidays); and employment legislation. It also offers a range of tools, such as team calendars, integration with outlook and graphical dashboards, which make it easier for HR, line managers and the employees themselves to stay on top of holidays.
Instead of having to worry about manually updating records, HR can rely on the system to do most of the hard work for them.
