Cezanne HR adds webhooks for real-time data integration with third party systems

The new features, which include webhooks and the option to send scheduled reports via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), reflect Cezanne HR’s on-going commitment to helping customers get even more value from their HR system.

A webhook is an easy way to send real-time data to a third-party system when a specific event is triggered. For example, with webhooks, adding a new employee or editing an absence record in Cezanne HR will automatically notify the connected system of the change.

John Hixon, Director of R&D explains: “For many of our customers, Cezanne HR is the most accurate and up-to-date source of employee data. Adding this kind of connectivity means it is even easier for customers to use Cezanne HR to power other business applications. The benefits of webhooks are that they are easy to implement and push data to the other application virtually instantly.”

The new capability builds on the strengths of Cezanne HR’s powerful API, providing customers with a straight-forward solution for enabling real-time notifications and data updates to third-party systems without needing to make use of the full API.

Cezanne HR and SFTP

Cezanne HR now also offers customers the option to send their scheduled exports via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) using an SSH (Secure Shell) connection, allowing for greater web security.

“With more and more customers taking advantage of Cezanne HR’s scheduled reporting for tailored data exports, we recognised it was important to provide more ways for them to secure their data,” says John.

“Customer still benefit from the ease of use of setting up regular scheduled reports, but now have the option to specify that data is sent via SFTP.”
