London, UK, 25 June – We’re delighted to announce the arrival of a modern new interface for Cezanne HR. Reflecting extensive research and usability testing, the updated design introduces clearer screens, simpler navigation and more options for HR to own-brand the system.

The new design underpins an exciting program of new releases planned for the second half of 2020. These include new options for the home screen, updated reporting dashboards and an advanced analytics module.

“The Cezanne HR system is growing incredibly quickly, and the navigation was struggling to keep up”, explains John Hixon, Director of R&D at Cezanne HR. “With more modules and features in the pipeline, we felt the time had come to review the whole user experience. We wanted to bring more clarity to the system and boost efficiency, especially for HR administrators, while enabling further changes in the next months.”

Fresher look and feel

All the Cezanne HR modules now have the fresh new interface, with a modern design, smarter use of screen space and streamlined navigation, making for a clear, efficient and up-to-date user experience.

Smoother navigation, faster journey

The screen layouts have been rethought to bring key information closer to the surface. The side bar has been decluttered, and a new header bar introduced with tabs and breadcrumbs. Line managers and HR have a new navigation pane that makes exploring different aspects of an employee’s data effortless.

Easier access to configuration tools

The system set up and configuration tools have been given their own space, with a dedicated Administration screen that provides a more direct route to these key parts of the system. Frequently used features can be pinned to the side menu of the home screen, allowing HR administrators to personalise their system, so they can focus on what matters most to them.

Customised colour options

Instead of selecting from one of Cezanne HR’s pre-defined themes, HR administrators now have the freedom to define the colour of the header bars, so they can exactly match their company colours.

Spotlight on actionable events

For employees and managers, there’s a new ‘Reviews’ option that takes them straight to the activities likely to be high on the list of their priorities, including Goals and Check-ins from the Performance module, and Checklists from the Onboarding module.

Additional new features also include requests from customers, such as the option for HR to be able to tailor the ‘Person’ header to include additional information, such as location, company, job title, position or contact number.
