London, 30 March 2020 – In challenging times, employee communication is more important than ever before. But, with so much information to share, it’s easy for HR teams to get overwhelmed by administration, and simply not have time to send out important documents or keep track of what’s already been sent.

That’s why Cezanne HR’s development team has been working hard to extend the mail merge capabilities of Cezanne HR to include more of the fields customers have told us they’d like to use.

The March 2020 update to Cezanne HR adds more than 350 new merge fields, making it even simpler for HR teams to send, track and keep a record of digital letters and emails that are personalised for every employee.

John Hixon, Cezanne HR’s Director of R&D explains: “We know from customer feedback how much HR teams value the integrated document management capabilities of Cezanne HR. Generating and sending documents through the system boosts accuracy, ensures delivery and, as they are stored centrally, means they can’t get mislaid. Employees – and HR – can refer back to them at any time.”

“Being able to rely on the HR system to generate documents also avoids the mistakes that often creep in when data has to be entered manually,” he adds. “For example, some of our customers provide employees with comprehensive and complex benefits packages. This release significantly extends the number of benefits-related mail merge fields available to them, so they can, for example, easily generate comprehensive total comp statements directly from their Cezanne HR system. It’s one less thing for HR to have to worry about.”

Other new features available with this release include more flexibility around exceptions and reporting for the Clock In and Out functionality in the Time module, and more options to record and display development activities in the core People module.
