London, United Kingdom: Cezanne HR, the leading supplier of smart, flexible HR software for mid-sized UK and global businesses, announce the latest update to their modern Cloud HR system.

The latest update to the Cezanne HR simplifies employee performance reviews and extends the compliance options available to firms in the financial services sector. It also marks the start of an exciting program of releases planned for 2022 and beyond.

Split views for faster, better performance feedback

With many organisations embarking on a new cycle of performance reviews, we have added a brand-new feature that we know will be appreciated by reviewers and reviewees.

A new split view option means that performance review forms can now be displayed side by side on the same screen. For example, rather than having to toggle between different views, a reviewing manager can view an employee’s self-assessment when providing their own feedback.

John Hixon, Director of R&D at Cezanne HR explains: “If performance reviews are to really work, reviewing managers have to put as much – if not more – effort into completing performance forms as their team members do. If they don’t, employees will come away from their reviews feeling undervalued, and disengaged from the performance process, their manager and probably their organisation, too. The split view makes it much easier for busy line managers to provide an appropriate level of feedback. They’ll be able to match and build on the level of detail that each of their team members put in their own forms.”

It is anticipated that the new feature will be just as valuable to individual employees and HR teams. For example, by letting employees more easily compare their self-assessment with their manager’s review, as well as providing HR teams with a simpler way to evaluate input from participants in peer or multi-rater performance processes.

Senior Managers and Certification Regime

For organisations in the financial services sector regulated by the FCA or PRA, we have extended the SM&CR types to include Non-Executive Directors, together with associated reporting and notifications.
